A Bass Guitar is not an ordinary string guitar or the traditional guitar we have known such as the lead guitar and rhythm guitar, because guitar basses are 4- string electric guitar that has much lower notes compare to lead guitar or Rhythm guitar. However, there are also types of brand of guitar basses , I list some brands below.
A Fender basses guitar or alternatively known as the “P Bass” guitar is the first basses that has been available to general public use. It was created by Mr. Leo Fender, thus it is called fender basses. However, before fender basses guitars were produced and patronized by public, there already existing an electric bass guitar made by Audiovox Manufacturing Company, however, the fender basses guitars was still the well accepted. Fender basses guitars are also called Precision guitars thus it was called “P Bass”. This kind of guitar is being played by plucking or slapping its strings. There are types of fender basses namely, Stratocaster, Telecaster, Jazzmaster, Jaguar, Mustang, Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster, and Fender Squier.
An Ibanez basses guitar is a Japanese inspired bass guitar whose right has been acquired by Hoshino Gakki from “Salvador Ibáñez” workshop after it was destroyed during Spanish Civil War. These bass guitars have wild designs and have imitation- designs from known copyrighted American and European guitars which result a lawsuit against them by copying designs. However, now Ibanez basses have wide variety of models to choose from but the most economical among them is Ibanez GIO which has also some varied sub models, namely Ibanez RG, Ibanez RX, Ibanez SA, Ibanez SZ, and Ibanez AX series.
Spector basses guitars are bass guitars that are mostly used by music artists, namely Michael Todd, Rex Brown, Rachel Bolan, Colin Edwin, Hal Jaques, and many more. The famous model of spector basses guitars is their NS model, followed by their ARC6 series.
Gibson basses guitars are of course made by Gibson Guitar Corporation. These bass guitars are being despise by some because of their poor weight distribution, narrow necks, poor fret access, limited tonal variety, and easily destructible. It has basically two distinct models that are the Gibson Thunderbird and Gibson Blackbird.
Fodera basses guitars are made by Fodera Shop at Brooklyn New York. These bass guitars are very expensive bass guitars. They have similarity with Ken smith basses guitars.
Ken smith basses guitars made by Ken Smith Ltd. Is said to be the most handsome bass guitar. The men behind fodera basses were originally come from the Ken smith basses makers, thus their guitars have kind of similarity.
Lakland Basses is 4 to 5 strings electric bass guitar with hollowed-body guitar. These bass guitars are also most used by musicians and artists.Whether single string basses or double basses electric guitars whatever brand it may be, no high notes or misplace notes will out of sync in the realm of the basses instruments like bass guitar.
